Legend Bea Arthur Passes On
Though the legendary actress reportedly was suffering from cancer, it is not entirely clear if that is what ended her illustrious life.
A legend has passed this weekend. Bea Arthur, 86, died this week at the age of 86. Arthur may be best remembered for her role on Golden Girls, though she had a long career before and after that popular show.
Arthur was known for playing no-nonsense, even give 'em hell characters, who could give just as good as they got. She also guest starred in many television shows over the years, including Malcolm in the Middle.
Arthur was in such productions as the incredibly well-received Fiddler on the Roof, in addition to the television series, Maude.
This is one lady who will be missed.
