Jamie Lynn's Baby Daddy Injured

Casey Aldridge, 19, was thrown from his truck when it rolled over in Louisiana, according to the Associated Press. Neither Aldridge nor his four passengers were wearing seat belts.

Aldridge, a pipe-layer, is known for being the father of Maddie Briann Spears, daughter of Jamie Lynn Spears, who is the sister of singer Britney Spears.

Aldridge and two others were thrown from the 2008 Ford F-250 pickup. Trooper Mark Dennis said that he suffered moderate injuries. "The fact that three of these guys survived ejection totally defies the odds," he said.

The accident occurred at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday on a highway near the Mississippi state line. MTV reported that Aldridge was charged with a "misdemeanor count of careless operation of a motor vehicle."

Dennis said that the truck went off the highway and into a ditch, overcorrected, then ran off the other side of the highway and flipped at least once.

Despite suffering mild brain trauma, doctors are confident that Aldridge will fully recover.
