Tyra Banks's Stalker Has Been Convicted on Four Separate Charges
It was reported yesterday that former supermodel and current television talk show host Tyra Banks had testified in court against her alleged stalker, 39-year-old Brady Green. Her appearance on the witness stand marked the first time that she had ever come face to face with the man who had altered her life in several different aspects. Earlier this morning, Green was convicted of the four separate charges that he was faced with in this criminal case.
Green was convicted on charges of attempted aggravated harassment, criminal trespass, harassment and stalking. Judge James Burke came to a decision in Manhattan Criminal Court on his own since the case did not involve a jury, according to the Associated Press. Green will officially be sentenced in June and he faces a maximum 90 day jail sentence.
ABC News is reporting that the prosecution successfully forced Green to admit that he had traveled all the way to New York from Los Angeles without any other intention than to attempt to try to get into a building where Banks's studio was located during cross-examination. Green's lawyer has announced that the defense plans to appeal the judge's decision.
The host of America's Next Top Model and The Tyra Banks Show explained how she feared for her safety as well as the safety of her staff members because of Green's actions during her testimony on Wednesday.
