As Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker was all about the trends in fashion, shoes, makeup and more. In real life, she's up on the baby trend.
Two of the latest popular things for celebrities to do in terms of families are having children via a surrogate parent and having twins. Parker and her husband, Matthew Broderick, are doing both, according to ABCNews.com.
In a statement released to the press, their reps said, "Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate. The entire family is overjoyed."
Parker certainly won't be bored while waiting for the arrival of the babies. The New York Daily News reported that she's currently filming What About the Morgans, producing the Bravo project American Artist, and will begin filming the Sex and the City sequel this summer.
The couple currently has one son, 6-year-old James Wilkie.
