Sarah Jessica Parker Always Wanted a Girl, Says Co-star

Sarah Jessica Parker will finally get the daughter(s) she always wanted.

Sarah Jessica Parker has always wanted a daughter, her "Sex and the City" co-star Mario Cantone tells People magazine. He's happy that in a few months, she will have not one but two daughters via a surrogate mother. "I'm thrilled for her!" the comedian, 49, said at Thursday's DKMS Americas Bone Marrow Registry's Third Annual Linked Against Leukemia benefit, which he emceed at New York City's Cipriani 42nd Street. "She has definitely wanted to have a girl."

Cantone says that having daughters will be perfect for Parker considering she is "the ultimate girl. I mean, she's her. She's going to have so much fun bringing the two girls up and teaching them to be young ladies."

Cantone complimented Parker, 44, and her husband Matthew Broderick, 47, on the great job they've done raising their son, James Wilkie, 6.

"He's witty. He's funny and bright. The kid's sharp! They are great parents," he said.

Cantone also says he's happy that James Wilkie will finally have some siblings to play around with.
