Late Night Host Jimmy Fallon Graduates College after 15 Years
The Associated Press reports that the 34 year-old comedian and actor finally got his bachelor's degree in communications, 14 years after he left an upstate New York college to pursue his career in comedy.
Fallon spoke to graduates at Saturday's College of Saint Rose commencement.
He attended Saint Rose in Albany from 1992 through 1995 and was just 15 credits short from graduating.
According to E! Online, Fallon had switched from computer science to a major in communications because he couldn't handle the math. Three years after dropping out of college, he was hired to work for "Saturday Night Live." In 2004, he left the show to pursue a career in movies.
The New York Daily News reports that the college says Fallon earned his degree after satisfying requirements for the remaining credits by presenting a portfolio of his work.
