Tobey Maguire and Wife Welcome Baby Boy

Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire is father for a second time. His wife, Jennifer Meyer, gave birth to their second child on Friday, MSN Movie News reports.

According to People.com, 31-year-old Meyer gave birth to a baby boy on Friday. Maguire's publicist, Kelly Bush, confirmed the birth of the baby on Sunday but did not provide any other details.

The 33-year-old actor and his wife already have a 2-year-old daughter named Ruby Sweetheart Maguire.

Maguire and Meyer met in 2003 and were married in 2007.

Meyer is the daughter of Ron Meyer, president and chief operating officer of Universal Studios. She has her own jewelry line, pieces of which were featured on pal Jennifer Aniston in last year's hit movie, Marley & Me.

Maguire's other screen credits include Pleasantville, The Cider House Rules, Seabiscuit and Wonder Boys. A fourth "Spider-Man" is supposedly in the works and Maguire will reprise his role as the superhero and Peter Parker, his alter ego.
