Growing Up Gotti Mansion Under Foreclosure
The Growing Up Gotti mansion, located in Old Westbury, Long Island and owned by Victoria Gotti, is currently under foreclosure, Fox News reported.
Even though Victoria Gotti inherited a fortune from her late father, Gambino boss John "Dapper Don" Gotti, she has skipped two years worth of loan payments and will lose her estate to the bank, court records reported.
The 46-year-old former reality TV star owes $650,000 to lender JP Morgan Chase, a debt secured by a mortgage on the nearly $4.2 million mansion she won in her divorce with ex-husband, Carmine Agnello, according to Fox News.
"I was awarded full ownership of marital property . . . and all I inherited was a house with millions of dollars' worth of debt," Gotti told the New York Post yesterday. "This should finally put to rest all the government lies and rumors that I have $200 million buried in my backyard."
Gotti split from Agnello in 2003 while he was in prison for racketeering. The six-acre home was given to her in 2005.
Gotti claims that Agnello had taken out an $850,000 loan in 1997 without her knowledge and has left her as a scapegoat.
