“New Moon” Script Found in Trash
12-May-2009
Written by: Karla Casillas

A St. Louis woman found the “Twilight” sequel script in the trash.

Casey Ray, a beauty salon owner in St. Louis, found the script for the Twilight sequel in a trash can, along with another script, titled “Memoirs.”

It is unknown how the scripts landed in the trash can. According to the Associated Press, Ray was outside a St. Louis hotel where actors are staying while shooting George Clooney’s upcoming film, Up in the Air. Anna Kendrick is in the film, and plays Bella’s friend, Jessica, in Twilight. Her rep already said the actress wouldn’t have left the scripts around.

Ray did think about handing them over to the tabloids, her lawyer said, but didn’t want financial reimbursement, just to keep them as a collector’s item. She returned the scripts to Summit Entertainment and was rewarded with invitations to the film’s premieres and will get the scripts back after the films are released.
