Jamie Foxx Hosts BET Awards

The nominees include Jamie Foxx, Ryan Leslie, Keri Hilson, N.E.R.D., The-Dream, Soulja Boy and Day26. All stars made appearances to help announce this year's BET Awards nominees.

The hosts of 106 & Park, Terrence and Rocsi, welcomed a stage full of stars to announce the BET Awards 2009 nominees.

The comedian/actor Foxx appeared on the show claiming "no one is safe," he joked. Foxx promised to touch on all the hot topics at the awards.

The awards show will feature performances from Maxwell, Ne-Yo and other artists to be announced.

Fresh off the success of her debut album, In a Perfect World, Hilson announced the first nominees. Alternative rap group N.E.R.D. joined Hilson on stage to read off the best R&B nominees.

Mr. Radio-Killa himself (The-Dream) spoke on how excited he is to be nominated in the Best Male R&B category. While reading off nominees, the cameras zoomed in to his protege, Christina Milian, watching from above.

Later in the show, Hilson joined The-Dream to announce their tour with Keyshia Cole and Bobby V this summer.

The Oscar winner, Jamie Foxx, will host the BET Awards '09 live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on June 28, TVWeek.com reports.
