“Up” Gives Peek into “Toy Story 3”

Pixar stays in tradition of linking films.
Pixar has given Toy Story fans a glimpse at one of the new characters for the third edition, before its 2010 debut, in this year's Up.
According to Animation Magazine, director Pete Docter and producer Jonas Rivera confirmed the link is in keeping with the Pixar tradition. For example, a toy of the Finding Nemo star is in Monsters Inc. The Toy Story 3 character in question is being kept a secret, but it will be located under a little girl's bed in a scene in Up, where the house flies past her window.
Toy Story 3 is set to debut next June and revolves around the toys' adventures after Andy goes to college and they are forced to stay in a day-care. Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Wallace Shawn, Joan Cusack, John Ratzenberger, and Jodi Benson all come back to reprise their voices.
