Brooke Shields Says Reporter Harassed Mom for a Good "Tabloid Story"
Brooke Shields claims a reporter for the National Enquirer looked for a good story out of mother Teri Shields, who's currently in a nursing home.
Brooke Shields, the model-turned-actress who once sported wear for Calvin Klein, said that a journalist/photographer working for the National Enquirer harassed mother Teri Shields, for a good "tabloid story."
TMZ and E! Online state that the 75-year-old resides in a nursing home and was checkedout of her nursing home on Thursday. Brooke, in her conversation with People magazine, claimed the reporter took her mother, who has dementia, around the state of New Jersey for a possible narrative.
However, the Enquirer stated that the freelance writer has known Teri for 10 years and that the hospital, where she was staying, gave their employee permission to sign her out.
According to TMZ, no arrests were made or charges filed.
