Hewitt and Kennedy to Star in Developing Drama Called “Cafe”

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy are starring in an in-production movie titled “Cafe,” which began shooting May 11 in Philadelphia.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy are the lead actors in developing indie drama Café, from writer-director Marc Erlbaum.

Sean Covel, Chris "Doc" Wyatt (Napoleon Dynamite) and J. Andrew Greenblatt (Explicit Ills) are producing. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film began shooting May 11 in Philadelphia.

Hewitt, a Texan in real-life, plays Claire, a woman who works in a West Philly Grounds coffee shop where local regulars performed by Alexa Vega, Madeline Carroll, Daniel Eric Gold and Hubble Palmer visit often.

Hewitt and Kennedy, who are also dating, according to IMDb, currently star on the CBS show, Ghost Whisperer.
