Fox Adds Six for Fall Lineup
FOX is adding more laughs to next season with four new dramas coming to the small screen, according to the Associated Press.
Glee, which premieres tonight after American Idol, will be another singing competition show, except this one is not reality, it's being scripted. After tonight's premiere, the show will go away for the summer and return, following So You Think You Can Dance, in the fall.
So You Think You Can Dance will be a summer into fall show, as it returns for another season, for which its sponsors hold high hopes.
The Associated Press also reports that Wanda Sykes will be getting a late night Saturday show of her own and FOX will also be starting a Family Guy spin-off. Former New York Giant Michael Strahan will also be in a new series that's about an ex-NFL star who goes back to live with his mother, in the fall season.
According to Z on TV, Dollhouse was surprisingly renewed for another 13 episodes come the fall. The show did not have good ratings, but viewers seemed to be recording the show to watch later, which Z on TV says FOX may be able to make something out of.
