Jackson Puts Off Start of Tour
The 13-time Grammy winner, Michael Jackson, has not so thrilling news for fans. The first four dates of the singer's 50-show comeback tour have been postponed, the New York Daily News reported on Wednesday.
While the July 9 show at London's O2 has only been put off until July 13, the shows previously scheduled for July 10, 12, and 14 have been rescheduled for March 2010, promoters said.
Though the immediate thoughts of many were that Jackson's health was not good enough to perform, it appears that there has been a production snag, according to promoters. Refunds will be given out to fans that cannot attend Jackson's new dates.
Jackson has said this will be his last tour and with 750,000 tickets already sold, his fans will just have to keep the faith that no more dates will be put at a standstill.
