Gavin DeGraw and Collective Soul Head Out for Their New Summer Tour
Gavin DeGraw and Collective Soul join together to hit the road on a co-headlining summer tour. The 13-city tour starts on June 22 in Cleveland, Ohio's House of Blues and ends on July 15 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida's Revolution.
Collective Soul and Gavin DeGraw have other dates that they will be playing solo, directly before and after their co-headlining tour.
Collective Soul is an alternative-rock band that hit mainstream popularity with their single, "Shine," from their debut album in 1993. They are promoting their most recent album, Afterwords, that was released in 2007. They are also working on a new album which is to be released later this year.
Ed Roland, Collective Soul front man, said in a prepared statement, "We are excited to get back out on the road this summer, and are delighted it's with Gavin. [We] have always been big fans, and we look forward to some great shows."
Gavin DeGraw's single, "I Don't Want to Be," hit the top ten singles in the U.S., which is off of his 2004 album, Chariot. He is promoting his newest album, Free, which was released earlier this year.
