After a failed attempt at chasing down the thief that ran away with his Blackberry, the Footloose star enlisted the help of the New York City police.
Bacon called the cops after losing track of the man who remained at large on Saturday while running through the station's crowd, according to the New York Post. The mugging occurred at the B, D, and E station at 53rd St. and 7th Ave. in Manhattan, the Post reports.
According to New York City Transit officials, no subway personnel were informed of the crime. The New York Police Department cannot yet confirm if a report was filed concerning the robbery.
A spokesperson for Bacon said he was unavailable for comment, as he is traveling with his band, the Bacon Brothers.
