New Orleans Saints football star, Jeremy Shockey, was hospitalized on Sunday, after he was found unconscious in Las Vegas. The tight end was removed from the Hard Rock Hotel, and carried away on a stretcher.
Shockey was released from the hospital after being treated for dehydration. He appears to be "in good shape now," according to spokesman Greg Bensel.
Shockey was attending a pool party called "Rehab," at the Beach Club Pool at the Hard Rock Cafe Casino. Several NFL players were in attendance with him at the time.
Shockey made the Pro Bowl four times while playing for the New York Giants, but was traded to the New Orleans Saints before last season. In his first season with the Saints, Shockey caught 50 passes for 483 yards and had no touchdowns in the 12 games he played for the Saints.
In eight seasons, Shockey has 421 receptions for 4,711 yards and 27 touchdowns.
