More Housewives for Bravo

Bravo plans to launch "The Real Housewives of D.C."

Millions have fallen in love with housewives from Orange County, New York, Atlanta and New Jersey. Now they will be given another opportunity to peek-in on the lives of the wealthy wives with the launch of Bravo's The Real Housewives of D.C.

Star magazine reports that a rep from the new show says the ladies will be from many different influential outlets in the city. The women are part of the social and political circles that run the city.

Casting is currently taking place in the nation's capital, and the show will resemble that of the other "Housewives" spin-offs created by Bravo.

Since the women are supposedly influential to the city and even our country, maybe there will be less catfights and petty gossip. If this show is anything like the others, prepare for what Bravo does best: drama. The housewives seem to have many of the same problems and grudges, no matter where they wind-up living.
