Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman Together on Broadway
Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig may be coming together on stage for the Broadway production of Keith Huff's A Steady Rain. Although it hasn't been officially confirmed, the Associated Press reported that the two actors may be hitting the stage as early as next fall.
The play is set in Chicago and tells the story of two policemen who have been friends since they were young boys. They're lives are divided after an incident changes their lives forever and catapults them into an action-packed, emotional drama.
While Jackman has made a previous appearance on Broadway, playing Peter Allen in the musical, The Boy from Oz, this will be Daniel Craig's first ever Broadway performance. After shooting into popularity as being the latest James Bond, Daniel Craig may be able to bring huge box-office numbers, much like Jackman did in his show five years ago.
A Steady Rain playwright Keith Huff said he would be excited for these two famous actors to take on the roles. "I think it would be kind of cool to see Daniel Craig do it. My wife would be happy."
