Rushed to hospital as "precautionary measure"

Angelina Jolie was taken to a hospital on Long Island Friday after she bumped her head while performing a stunt on the movie set for "Salt," reported OK! Magazine.

According to TMZ.com, the star got a small cut in between her eyes and bled a little. Her manager told the Web site that Jolie is fine.

Columbia Pictures issued a statement after the incident saying Jolie was taken to a hospital as a "precautionary measure" and shooting for the film has resumed.

In April, Now magazine claimed the actress collapsed on the film's set after shooting a physically demanding scene. However, according to PopEater, a Sony spokesperson told Us magazine, "I can confirm that those rumors are in fact not true!"

In the film Jolie plays a CIA officer who is accused of being a Russian spy, forcing her to go on the run and clear her name, according to Zap2it.
