Jon Cryer's Ex-Wife Arrested

Jon Cryer's ex-wife arrested for child abuse.

Accoridng to E! News, Sarah Trigger, the former missus to Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer, was arrested Wednesday nigh at her home in Hermosa Beach, Calif., on suspicion of child abuse. Reports indicated that Cryer and Trigger's 9-year-old son, Charlie Austin, was not invovled as earlier news had stated. Cryer's rep said the boy is doing "ok."

According to a spokesperson for the Hermosa Beach Police Department, officers appeared at Trigger's home around 10:47 p.m. The police department had received a phone call from her current husband - whom she married after divorcing Cryer and is now seperated from - regarding an injury sustained by their 2-year-old son. The police reported that the baby boy had "marks on his neck."

E! news reported that Trigger, who is a British-born actress, supposedly gave conflicting accounts regarding the child's "accident. Before being released on a $100,000 bail, Trigger was arrested for suspicion of child abuse and booked into the HBPD jail.

Further reports deterimned that the Department of Children and Family Services is on the case, and the injured boy is now said to be "in a safe enviornment."

Trigger, who is best known for her role in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey as well as an episode of CSI: Miami, married Cryer in 1999 and divorced five years later. Cryer is remarried to entertainment reporter Lisa Joyner.
