Octomom Set to Star in Reality TV Show
Nadya Suleman, better known as Octomom, has signed a deal with British production company Eyeworks to have her own reality TV show, reported People.
After giving birth to octuplets on Jan. 26, making her a mother of 14, Suleman received controversial media attention. Now she is taking the next step by allowing cameras to film her family's private life.
Rather than follow the family with 24-hour coverage, Suleman requested that the show only cover monumental occasions like birthdays and possibly holidays. Jeff Czech, her attorney, says Suleman does not want the show to resemble TLC's "Jon and Kate Plus 8."
"She's been watching them a bit lately and thinks it's boring," Czech told People.
Czech also said Suleman is looking forward to the experience as a way to express her side of the story. She wants to clear the air about issues regarding her childhood, her own children and the donor father.
The show will air on British television. So far no U.S. network has agreed to air the program.
