Melissa Joan Hart opens new store.

The star of the former television shows “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” Melissa Joan Hart, 33, opened a candy store named SweetHarts on Saturday.

“It's been a dream of mine since I was a kid. I'm so excited to start this next adventure in my life,” Hart said.

Located in Sherman Oaks, Calif., the candy store offers 200 different types of candy, which include Jelly Bellies, Candy Lipstick, Nerds and Junior Mints. There are also different types of frozen yogurt that Hart served on Saturday.

Present at the debut of SweetHarts were Hart’s husband and lead singer of the band “Course of Nature,” Mark Wilkerson, 32, and their children, Mason, 3, and Braydon, 14 months. Also there on Saturday were Hart’s friends Kellie Martin, Soleil Moon Frye and Jaime Pressly.

The actress, who recently lost 42 pounds and was on the cover of People magazine, says she’s not worried about being tempted by the sweets in her store.

“Actually, I don't like sweets unless I'm pregnant," she said. "It's a very lucky thing! The only thing I'll eat at the store is the non-fat frozen yogurt.”
