Twilight Stars Introduce Exclusive "New Moon" Clip
The MTV Movie Awards proved to be an exciting night for "Twilight" fans. A short scene from the next installment, "New Moon," debuted.
The exclusive premiere aired on live telecast Sunday night in Los Angeles. Co-stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner introduced the clip, according to the Associated Press.
Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black, received extra attention. In order to properly portray his role as a werewolf, the actor needed to bulk up quite a bit. Appearing shirtless in the clip, his preparation did not go unnoticed.
"Taylor (Lautner) has gotten bigger, man. He's got the muscles going," said Peter Facinelli, who plays Edward's vampire father, reported USA Today.
"My life has gotten busier, that's for sure," Lautner responded in regard to his fame. "The biggest change for me is that my schedule is crazy now."
If this film's success matches that of the first, then the whole cast can plan on a busier schedule. "Twilight" raked in awards including Best Fight and Best Kiss. Pattinson won Breakthrough Male Performance and Stewart won Best Female Performance.
"New Moon" will hit theatres in November.
