Speidi Not Quite Finished With "I'm a CelebrityÉGet Me Out of Here"
According to TMZ.com, production sources from NBC's new reality show "I'm a Celebrity
Get Me Out of Here" say that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have asked to come back to the show. NBC has not yet complied with their request.
The couple, commonly known as "Speidi," quit the show during its two-hour premiere on Monday night. During the premiere, Montag, 22, and Pratt, 25, repeatedly threatened to walk off the show, but continued to return, reports the latimes.com. They reportedly called it quits for good after the live portion of the show.
It appears that NBC immediately began crafting a response to Speidi's sudden departure. Prior to Montag and Pratt allegedly making a bid to return to the show, msnbc.com reported that Daniel Baldwin might replace the dynamic duo and join brother Stephen Baldwin as a contestant on the show. A source also revealed earlier that NBC is working on acquiring a female replacement, according to the report.
At the moment, it remains unknown whether or not Montag and Spencer will be granted redemption and a second shot at life in the Costa Rican jungle.
