MTV to invade the sandy beaches of Mexico when "The Real World" returns.

The newest installment takes place in Cancun, Mexico, in the ME Hotel against a backdrop of newly created and broken friendships, reports IConVsICon.com. Similar to "The Real World: Brooklyn" season, there will be another eight roommates. The cast will experience a trip they will never forget.
Unlike the Brooklyn season, MTV appears to be displaying the theme of alcohol, hookups and fights again from the previews. From commercials, temptation awaits as friendships will be made and broken, relationships back home will be tested.
MTV has confirmed that it will launch the newest edition to "The Real World" franchise on June 24. "Cancun" marks the 22th season of "Real World," with Jon Murray and Jim Johnston as the executive producers.
