San Diego Street Scene line-up announced
The San Diego Street Scene has announced their line-up. The Black Eyed Peas, M.I.A, the Thievery Corporation, and Modest Mouse will be headlining the 25th anniversary of the event. According to a press release, the event will run from Aug. 28 to 29 in downtown San Diego.
Their website says that Street Scene is "an all-ages celebration set in the streets of East Village and adjacent to Petco Park
San Diego's ultimate summer block party."
There are over 40 artists that have been confirmed for the concert. Some of the artists performing are Silversun Pickups, Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band, Band of Horses, Girl Talk, Chromeo, Donald Glaude, Anya Marina, Ra Ra Riot, and Matt and Kim.
The festival has four stages: Zarabanda, Casbah, Fulana, and Fulano. The doors open at 4:00 p.m. on both days and the festival ends at midnight.
There is a sectioned off area for adults, 21 and up.
Two-day passes are available now off of their website, streetscene09.com. Tickets start at $122.
