Authorities claim unusual circumstances in David Carradine's death
The Thai authorities conducted an autopsy on David Carradine's body on Friday and cited "unusual circumstances" in their report. Initially ruled a suicide, Carradine was found hanging in his Bangkok hotel room. He was 72-years-old.
The Thai newspaper The Nation said Carradine could not be contacted Wednesday evening after he failed to appear for a meal with the film crew. His body was discovered Thursday morning by a hotel maid.
Carradine had flown to Thailand last week and began working on the action film "Stretch" two days prior to his death.
"All we can say is, we know David would never have committed suicide," Tiffany Smith of Binder and Associates, Carradine's management company told the Associated Press, "He really appreciated everything life has to give
and that's not something David would ever to do himself."
Carradine has appeared in over 100 feature films with directors such as Scorsese, Ingmar Bergman and Hal Ashby. He was recently known for Quentin Terantino's "Kill Bill" saga with Uma Therman.
