Who Killed David Carradine?

Rumors fly as police investigate 'Kung Fu' actor's death

The death of actor David Carradine on Thursday is still under investigation but already rumors are flying, with many close to him claiming foul play may have been involved.

Fox News reports that Carradine's wife and children are "baffled" by the incident. Fox has also learned that Carradine, 72, was desperate for money.

"It was a rough year for him, he was … always in debt," one source told Fox. "But he wouldn't have killed himself over finances. His ego would never have let him do that."

According to ABC, Thai police currently suspect his death may have been caused by "dangerous sex." Carradine's naked body was found by a maid in the closet of his Bangkok hotel room. Cords bound his neck and genitals.

"The two ropes were tied together," Police Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewprecha told reporters Friday. "It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or he died of suffocation or heart failure."

At the moment, police say there is no evidence anyone else was in the room with Carradine when he died.

Carradine was best known for his role in the 1970s television drama "Kung Fu" and reignited his cult popularity with his role in Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" saga.
