Whitney Houston to return with a whole new Album!
Six time Grammy award winner Whitney Houston is making her come back into the music industry after a six year hiatus.
According to College News, Sony music announced the music legend's untitled seventh album to be released Sept. 1. She is said to be working with a number of artists, reports EW.com, such as R. Kelly, Swiss Beatz, Diane Warren and Akon.
Houston, who has earned more than 400 awards, selling over 170 million records and videos worldwide, has already worked with photographer Patrick Demarchelier, taking promotional pictures for her come back. According to College News, the photographer praised her enthusiasm and bright energy at the photo shoot.
Much anticipation has emerged for the singer as she made a public appearance at Clive Davis' Grammy party where she performed for the record producer and a number of other celebrities such as Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Hudson. After appearing on a badly received reality show starring her now ex-husband Bobby Brown entitled "Being Bobby Brown," and rumors of battling drug addiction in 2006, friends and fans are rooting for Houston's return as they remember her with her chart topping hits such as "I Will Always Love You" and "Greatest Love of All."
Although the title for the album has not yet been confirmed, sources have reported "Undefeated" as a possible name. Her last album "Just Whitney" was released December of 2002 selling over 3 million copies worldwide.
