September marks Houston's comeback.
We can only hope that Whitney Houston's Sept. 1 comeback will be a good one.
Houston has battled drug abuse in recent years and followed them up with an embarrassing reality show that featured her then husband, Bobby Brown.
What happened to the Houston who starred next to Kevin Costner in the 1992 "The Bodyguard"? Let's hope those days aren't over.
On Sept. 1 Houston will release her album, which is not yet titled, reports Entertainment Weekly. Collaborations include R. Kelly, Diane Warren, David Foster, Swiss Beatz and Akon.
Houston, 45, is making her comeback after taking a six-year hiatus. Since 1985 she has sold 170 million records, singles and videos, reports Reuters.
