Lil Wayne Presents Kobe Bryant with Ode to Talent

The rapper admits he is a huge fan of the Lakers star by writing an entire track dedicated to him.

Acclaimed rapper and hip hop artist Lil Wayne is apparently a huge fan of Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers. So much, in fact, that he dedicated an entire song to the basketball player.

Taking time out of his busy schedule to create the ode, which is simply entitled "Kobe Bryant," Wayne combines announcer commentary, post-game interview clips and his own unique rhymes together, reports Rolling Stone.

"He's the greatest on the court, I'm the greatest on the verse," he raps.

As if dedicating an entire track to Bryant wasn't enough already, Wayne also defends Lakers number 24 against other players as well. A huge fan of ESPN, the rapper often blogs about the "Who's Better: Lebron James vs. Kobe Bryant" debate. Presenting his counterpoints against fellow chart-toppers like Justin Timberlake, whose vote lies with James, Wayne contributes a strong defense for his choice.
