DMX Escapes Sentencing.This Time
One would think that rapper, DMX would try and do everything in his power to stay out of court and jail, but he isn't.
Recently the troubled rapper was sentenced to 18 months probation for assault, according to Associated Press. DMX whose real name is Earl Simmons plead guilty to attempted aggravated assault back in May. This was after authorities said that he threw a meal tray at a jail officer.
The rapper has spent the better part of two year tangling with the Arizona judicial system, but usually has not had the luck that he had today. Simmons has been sentenced for felonies such as theft, drug possession, and animal cruelty after the sheriffs seized his pit bulls, marijuana, and weapons from his Phoenix home.
He was also alleged to have given a false name to a clinic in an effort to avoid payment.
"Don't misunderstand me," the actor said today. "It's a beautiful state, it's a beautiful city. But the powers that be have it out for me. It kind of taints my view."
