Slash's Mother Dies

Celebrities have been on Twitter to discuss careers, new developments and opinions. Former Guns N' Roses guitarist, Slash, tweeted about the pain from the death of his mother.

According to Reuters.com, Ola Hudson died on Friday evening in Los Angeles at the Saint John's Health Center. She had been diagnosed with lung cancer some time ago, and has been trying her best to overcome the disease.

Hudson, a costume designer, created outfits for musicians such as David Bowie and members of The Beatles. She was also linked to David Bowie romantically in the 1970s, and Slash was not a fan of the suitor for his mother.

Reuters.com also said that Slash left a message on Twitter Monday evening about his new solo work in the studio, and how he was doing his best to proceed while coping with his mother's death.

Ola Hudson also has another son, Albion Hudson, and her funeral plans are still being sorted.
