'Saved By the Bell' Gets a Reunion
9-Jun-2009

Zack Morris shows up on Jimmy Fallon

"Saved By the Bell" has been off the air for more than a decade, but Mark-Paul Gosselaar, a.k.a Zack Morris, took time out of his schedule to do a Jimmy Fallon show that prompted the late night host to ask for a reunion of the teen sitcom favorite, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Gosselaar appeared on the show looking exactly as Zack Morris would as a teen, all hi-tops and quaffed hair, with Fallon playing along as Gosselaar embodied the character.

MTV.com states the Gosselaar managed to recreate every memorable vignette from “Saved by the Bell” although “Zack Morris” appeared on Jimmy Fallon to tell him he had become an actor after high school and starred in the new series, “Raising the Bar,” a court drama on TNT.

Morris/Gosselaar stated that he would reappear for a reunion and then got a call on his comically large cordless phone from Elizabeth Berkley who said she was also willing make an entrance.
