The "Hannah Montana" star splits up from her 20-year-old beau
Miley Cyrus, 16, and her boyfriend of a few months, Justin Gaston, 20, have ended their relationship, People magazine reported.
Both Cyrus and Gaston tweeted about heartache and tears over the weekend..
"Tears are words the heart can't express," Cyrus tweeted.
Gaston's page said, "How many tears are in there? They've gotta run out soon right?"
A source confirmed to People magazine that they broke up before Cyrus left for Savannah, Ga., to shoot her movie "The Last Song."
The pair were last spotted together as a couple at the "Hannah Montana" wrap party in Los Angeles.
The cause of the break up is yet to be determined, though Cyrus had been spending a lot of time with her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas, also 16. The two recorded the song "Before the Storm" together for Disney. They also met up when Jonas was shooting with her for Disney's "Friends for Change" video.
