DHL And Uno’s Chicago Grill Teaming Up For Pizzas For Patriots
11-Jun-2009
Written by: TheCelebrityCafe.com Staff

Operation Pizza is expected to be the largest pizza party imaginable for our troops currently stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Master Sergeant Mark Evans, a Chicago-native, has organized pizza parties on two previous occasions for our troops stationed overseas as a token of appreciation for their efforts to help keep us all safe. He arranged these pizza parties on Independence Day in 2008 and on Super Bowl Sunday, which was on Feb. 1. Evans is teaming up with Uno’s Chicago Grill to once again provide our troops with a massive pizza party celebration.

The Pizzas For Patriots non-profit organization was founded to provide our troops with gifts from back home in order to boost their overall morale. Their goal this time around is to provide a slice of pizza from Uno’s Chicago Grill to every troop who is currently stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. DHL’s role in this operation is that they are going to fill a cargo jet with the pizzas that are purchased from Uno’s and deliver them to the troops.

You have the opportunity to contribute to this noble cause by showing your appreciation for the efforts of every man and woman in the Middle East. By making a donation and/or spreading the word about Pizzas For Patriots, you will increase the chances of providing smiles to the faces of troops who could certainly use a temporary escape from the harsh realities they endure each and every day.
