Jon and Kate Gosselin Spend 10th Anniversary Apart

Jon and Kate spend their 10th anniversary miles away from each other.

Lately, Jon and Kate Gosselin have spent most of their time apart, and their 10th wedding anniversary on Friday was no exception.

Ten years ago, on June 12, 1999, Jon and Kate were married outdoors at a friend's house. Jon said to Kate in his vows that he would be there "through new and challenging experiences." The couple, however, didn't anticipate having a reality show that would take away many valued privacies that a family with twins and sextuplets would want.

With a rocky marriage and infidelity rumors on both sides, the ratings and viewership of their show have skyrocketed. According to the Daily News, the premiere of "Jon and Kate Plus 8's" fifth season drew in 9.8 million viewers, one of the highest viewerships TLC has ever seen for one of their programs.

Neither Jon nor Kate's reps have confirmed if the couple have any plans to celebrate their anniversary together.
