Leonardo DiCaprio Sells His "Hot Property"
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that actor Leonardo DiCaprio, 35, has sold a bluff-top contemporary in Malibu that had been listed at $7,999,000. The sales price was not released on the Multiple Listing Service.
According to the Times, the main house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, complete with marble fixtures and steam showers, in 2,374 square feet, while a separate guesthouse has two one-bedroom suites.
The house sits on the bluffs above the Pacific Ocean with a stairway leading to a beach cove below. DiCaprio reportedly put the property on the market in mid-November with listing agents Katie Bentzen and Sarah Kosasky of Bentzen Levin Real Estate, Malibu.
Public records show that DiCaprio purchased the Malibu house for $6.35 million in 2007.
It may be awhile before it is known what the sales price was on this.
