New Album Features Pre-'American Idol' Adam Lambert
An album which includes songs that are sung and co-written by "American Idol" runner up Adam Lambert will be released this summer,
MTV News reports that "On With The Show" was recorded in 2007-2008, before Lambert rocketed to fame on "Idol", and is being released by Hi Fi Recordings/Wilshire Records.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Lambert claimed that the music of "On With The Show" does not reflect the kind of music he is working on for an album that will be released by RCA Records, which signed him after he competed on "American Idol."
He also said that he took the job singing for Wilshire Records because he needed to make money. He is much more excited about the album he is doing for RCA Records, and says that it will show people what his music "really" sounds like.
According to The Associated Press, Lambert will be working on this album during the "Idols Live Tour," which kicks off in Portland, Ore. He hopes to finish in time to release it by this fall.
