Chief of Hustler magazine Larry Flynt was rushed to the hospital Saturday for stomach pains.

Larry Flynt, head of Larry Flynt Publications and publisher of Hustler magazine, was rushed from his Los Angeles home to the hospital, Saturday afternoon, reported RadarOnline.

The king of the sexually graphic publication was driven to the emergency room in his own car, reportedly moaning in pain for the duration of the trip. The vehicle was kept in the parking lot while Flynt was in medical care for reasons still undisclosed.

An assassination attempt in 1978 left the 66-year-old paralyzed from the waist down, but the emergency visit may have been due to severe stomach pains.

Flynt is no stranger to the media. He is often a target of prominent legal battles as a result of his boundary-pushing pornography, for which he frequently pleads the First Amendment. The Hustler brand, which includes the magazine, novelty shops and a Gentleman's Club, collects an annual revenue of $300 million.

After marrying five times, Flynt finally settled down with his current wife, Elizabeth Berrios, who he has been with since 1998. He has five children and, according to TMZ, is now back home enjoying Father's Day.
