Divorce of Brad Whitford and Kaczmerek

Two TV stars split.
It’s not as if divorce isn’t rampant among Hollywood A-listers, but it is always kind of shocking when the couple is out of the public eye and gossip reels, as well as seeming relatively normal. Thus, it is sad news and relatively shocking that Brad Whitford of “The West Wing” fame and Jane Kaczmerek, the infamous mom of “Malcolm in the Middle,” are splitting. According to Entertainment Weekly, the couple had been together 16 years before the divorce.
Whitford and Kaczmerek have three children together. Kaczmerek was nominated for several Emmys for her portrayal of Lois on “Malcolm in the Middle,” while Whitford won the Emmy for best supporting actor in drama. The couple filed for divorce on Friday. Reuters says that Whitford hopes the press gives him and Kaczmerek privacy and focuses on how the both of them will continue to raise their children.
