New Songs Falsely Reported
24-Jun-2009
Written by: Alyssa Marcus

Singer Chris Brown has had old songs leaked online.

Singer Chris Brown has said that he’s working on a new album entitled “Graffiti” and a new single will be released this summer. But according to MTV, something else is already out.

There are four songs that have been circulating around the Internet. They are “Not My Fault,” “Smash,” “Uh Oh” and “Stronger.” But a representative from Jive Records released a statement saying, “…There are no ‘new’ songs from Chris Brown currently being promoted by Chris or his record label. There are several old demos circulating that are being falsely promoted as new material…”

This is something that maybe should’ve been picked up on earlier, as “Smash” is clearly unfinished; there’s only one verse. Also, it’s unlikely that Brown would be coming out with a song called “Not My Fault,” as he was just sentenced to 180 days of community service and five years probation for what happened between him and ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown’s real newest single has yet to be announced.
