Amanda Brumfield, Billy Bob Thornton's Daughter, Indicted

Being the estranged daughter of Billy Bob Thornton isn't working out so well for Amanda Brumfield.

According to The Associated Press, Brumfield is booked was booked at the Orange County jail Wednesday on charges of first degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child.

According to court records, Brumfield told investigators that one-year-old Olivia Garcia was acting normally and ate bananas after falling from a playpen and hit her head. Ochoee police maintain that Brumfield's story is inconsistent with autopsy findings from the county coroner's office, which has ruled the death a homicide.

It is unclear whether Blumfield has an attorney.

A trial date has not been set.

According to Thornton's publicist, the actor hasn't spoken to Brumfield since his divorce from her mother, Melissa Gatlin, in 1980.
