TheCelebrityCafe.com 10th Anniversary Dinner/Auction

TheCelebrityCafe.com is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a party and charity auction on May 22, 2005 from 2:00pm-8:00pm at the Melville Marriott Hotel in Melville, New York. Tickets are $50 pre-sell, $55 at the door. To order tickets call the Lupus Alliance as 516-783-3370 or 1-800-850-900. Their office hours are Monday-Thursday 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Fridays 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The auction will benefit Lupus Research/Aid, a cause close to the website's founder, Dominick A. Miserandino, whose sister suffers from Lupus. All proceeds go to the Long Island Chapter of the Lupus Alliance of America which uses 93% of its budget for programs and services.

Among the hundreds of items up for auction include two tickets to any location in the continental US provided by Southwest Airlines, and a year's supply of Izze Fruit Juice. Winners of the auction prizes will be announced in the online magazine as well as the newsletter. The party will include a buffet and a performance by pop/opera singer micheal CASTALDO. Jimmy Norman of The Coasters describes CASTALDO as "soft but powerful" and says his voice "hits you with intensity, filling you with a melancholic joy that makes you want to cry." There will also be a booth mixing sparkling Izze fruit juices. All attendees will receive a gift bags worth over $150 dollars.
