“Rosie Radio” to Air This Fall
26-Jun-2009
Written by: Arnoldo Rivas
Rosie O’Donnell returns to the air through a deal with Sirius XM.
After an appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show, Rosie O’Donnell is heading back onto the air. The comedian, former talk-show host, and former member of “The View” will have a two-hour morning show through Sirius XM.
The last time that Rosie O’Donnell was on-air was when she co-hosted “The View.” After a sour season and a “tumultuous season,” as reported by the Associated Press, O’Donnell has kept herself off the airwaves until she recently appeared on Stern’s show. There seems to be no love lost after she left “The View,” however, Rosie seems ready to return to the spotlight.
People.com reports that Rosie Radio will air Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET (7 a.m. - 9 a.m. PT). The show will broadcast from O’Donnell’s guest house in her New York residence, according to People. The New York Times also quotes her as saying, “This is an exciting new adventure – two hours of talk show without having to wear make up. Perfection.”
The most disturbing part about her appearance on Stern’s show, and her recent offer to host her own show, is that it happened after she “yakked” on the show. Only she can know what her own show will bring.
