Brad Pitt's Movie to Be a Sequel?

Quentin Tarantino’s new film has talks of a prequel.
Harvey Weinstein, producer of Quentin Tarantino’s new film, “Inglourious Basterds,” which stars Brad Pitt, has told reporters that there could be a prequel to the film.
According to Total Film, Weinstein will wait to see how the first movie gets reviewed, but he is eager to produce another film starring the “Basterds.”
Weinstein told reporters, “Brad (Pitt) wants to do “Inglourious II. We all want to do it. And the movie hasn’t even come out yet! But unfortunately I cannot give away the plot.”
Weinstein also informed reporters that director Tarantino created so much material for this film over the years. Reportedly it was initially planned as a “Band of Brother-style TV show.”
“He had so much stuff mapped out, we could have done like three movies. It was just epic. We could do two movies, three movies. I was begging for the movies, but Quentin wanted to do the TV series, Bob wanted to do the TV series, so it was like two against one. . . .” the producer stated.
“Inglourious Basterds” hits theaters August 21.
