Family Guy infant Stewie is bringing his witty sarcasm to iPhone.

According to an article in Variety, "Fox Mobile Entertainment has launched its first-ever commercial application, a 'Family Guy'-themed app for the iPhone. The 'Freakin' Sweet Family Guy' app will include up to 20 show clips, as well as the ability for users to build their own video mix. A link will also allow users to directly purchase full-length 'Family Guy' episodes from iTunes."

Other features in the new application include "Peter Toss," where "Family Guy" patriarch Peter Griffin is tossed around an assortment of backgrounds which sets off different sound bites. In addition, snarky Stewie has his own game, called "Stewie Pin-Up," where users can swap body parts to create a unique character.

The Variety article adds, "Clips will be accessed via four video channels, 'Best of Stewie,' 'Brian's World,' 'Peter's Life Lessons' and 'The World According to Chris.' Each channel has five 'Family Guy' clips."

Rhythm NewMedia assisted Fox Mobile in creating the "Family Guy" application which uses Apple's 3.0 OS for the iPhone.

"Family Guy" was created by Seth MacFarlane and airs on Fox as well as other networks in syndication. The show follows the dysfunctional Griffin family which includes father, Peter Griffin, who is a bumbling yet well meaning blue collar worker, his wife, Lois, a stay-at-home mother and piano teacher. There's Meg, their teenage daughter, who seems to have self-esteem issues and isn't popular among her peers. Next is Chris, their teenage son, who is overweight and doesn't come off as very intelligent. Then, there is their scheming infant son, Stewie, who speaks fluently with an upper class English accent, uses adult mannerisms and spouts stereotypes and mocking jokes. Finally, there is Brian, the family dog, who walks on two legs, drinks, smokes and engages in human conversations, though still considered a pet.
