Farrah Fawcett Set to Have Private Funeral

The actress is set to have a private service in Los Angeles.

Farrah Fawcett, who died of anal cancer, Thursday, at the age of 62, is set to have a private funeral service on Tuesday.

According to BBC News, the funeral will be at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles. Church officials said the service will be at 1600 local time.

The actress became famous in the 1970s television series, "Charlie's Angels." She had been nominated three times for an Emmy, for her roles in "The Burning Bed" (1984), "Small Sacrifices" (1989) and "The Guardian" (2001).

Fawcett had been battling cancer since 2006. She said she was cancer-free four months after being diagnosed in September 2006, but the cancer came back in May 2007. Her illness was documented in the TV documentary, "Farrah's Story."

Fawcett and long-time partner Ryan O'Neal had planned on possibly marrying, but Fawcett died before they could wed. She is survived by O'Neal and their son, Redmond.
